I found this information really interesting. These statistics were really interesting. I feel like this is something that many people struggle with, but you wouldn't have any idea. I wonder why it is higher in women than men? That would be interesting to find out
I agree, too. The information you have is interesting. Great insight into this topic. I have close relative who has done a few tours in the Middle East with the Army. I know he had struggled with PTSD when he came home. Luckily he received some couseling, and he is doing great now. I wonder though out of the 5.2 million per year who may suffer from PTSD, are the majority coming from miltary backgrounds? It seems we associate PTSD so often with it. I would be curious to see how the layout is statistically, such as are the majority of those suffering with PTSD coming from the military? If so, what is the next common population and so on?
I really like this post because it gives you some basic, hard facts about PTSD. I also was not aware that it effects more women than it does men but I find that interesting. This topic will be great to learn more about.
